lekshmi nair, you are gorgeous and sweet in this programs flavours of india, but can you work on your dress code, jeans does suit you, but provided you wear a comfortable loose fitting top, preferrably below the hip length.
also sarees suit you the best.
I love watching your program, esp the way you talk.

me too support the above said, dresscode is not at all suitable for body shape.better you try salwars or sarees else try to be slim...
u must come in saree 4 ur sexy look..
programme is good except for the dressing of the compere.for a programme meant for taste&travel where is the question of sexy looks and all.considering the age&body shape she should dress decently.thats why dressess are made.
hi lekshmi, I love ur programme, i try and not miss any of the episodes.I am an ardent fan of urs right thru magic oven, pachakarani 1&2and now this one too. U have been one of my main inspirations to start my own cooking classes. It is still in the fledging state but I hope to do better in the years to come.I saw ur programme last night where u hav come to Mumbai (I live in mumbai-Chembur) and now I regret not writing to u earlier so that we could have met. Anyway congrats on ur rocking show and wish u the very best. Regards Jini Mathew

Hi,
I'm a person who enjoys cooking and also watching cookery programmes. 'Flavours of India'is a good programme. It's a very nice concept wherein people can have a visual treat of so many beautiful places as well as have a knowledge about the culinary specialities of each place.
The presentation of the show needs to be improved especially with the anchor's dress. I suggest Ms Lakshmi Nair should dress more decently. It would be better if she could wear loose fitting tops that are a bit longer in length.

Hi Lakshmi,
I am Manju from Bangalore I watch yout program I would like to add a comment on the program that was telecsted today (24th March 2010) reg. the Pondichery site you had mentioned that the mission building was of 2 BC (4000 years old) however as per the history of pondichery on pondicheryonline.in it ages only 2000 years old Please help with this.
"The ancient history of Pondicherry is associated with Saint Agasthya, the revered sage of the south. Excavations near Pondicherry have revealed the existence of a Roman settlement some 2000 years ago. It was also the site of many battles between the British, Dutch and French and was also the capital of French India. "

Dear Dr Lakshmy, on 29th March show you are in New Delhi and you are calling "India Gate" as "Gateway"!!!. Please correct your geography and general knowledge and DO NOT give nonsense information to the public.
